TotoExpress™ Application
TotoExpress™ is an online content delivery service that we launched in early 2006. It allows content producers to quickly, reliably and securely share, collaborate and deliver their work online from within a web-browser.
We developed TotoExpress™ using Mod_Perl for the backend, and HTML, CSS and Javascript front end which allows us to provide updates and apply skins with ease.
A proprietary Java applet was developed to handle the uploading of files -- it supports MD5 integrity checks, resume capability and Gzip compression. It was tightly integrated within the application using JavaScript so that it would be the least obtrusive as possible.
